My name is Bryan Hendren, and I am currently in my third year at the University of West Georgia. I am on a dual-degree program, meaning I will attend UWG for three years for my Chemistry degree, and attend the Georgia Institute of Technology for two years for my Chemical Engineering degree. I also work on campus at the UWG, and in my free time I enjoy playing ultimate frisbee and golf. My other interests include performing arts, music, and spending time with my family and friends
With the help of my parents, I started Bryan’s Bakery in my seventh grade year, in hopes of raising money so that I could attend a leadership trip in Washington, D.C. I succeeded, and even after my trip I was urged to continue baking for holidays. In 2009 I graduated from Carrollton High School, and shut down the bakery so that I could focus on my school work as I pursued my love of chemistry at the University of West Georgia.
In the past two years, I have had many inquiries about the grand re-opening of Bryan’s Bakery. After some careful deliberation and a shove in the right direction, I decided it was finally time to re-open. With new beginnings comes new changes… So I have decided, rather than opening the bakery up for the holiday season, it will be open year round. I hope you’ll share my site with your friends and family, and thanks again to everyone who pushed me to follow my aspirations!
